Well, John and Tang and I all went to down to Atlanta last night to see the 12:45am showing of Van Helsing… I have to say with much certainty, that it rocked hard core, but it sucked so bad too… Like. the backgrounds were unbelievably stunning, the soundtrack was a joy, the costumes were great, the creature design was wonderful… even the plot was pretty good. but the psychics and the acting sucked total ass. The girl was pretty, but the whole movie was like “Oh! Van HHHHHeeellllsink…. Don’t Joo liiike my cooorsettt?” It was terrible. Like, she even slept in that damn thing. Oh, and by the way: NO ONE fights in a corset either! She was also supposed to be totally human, but she was bouncing like a damn rubber doll. She fell out of tree (hitting branches all the way down) and landed on her feet, then gets up and runs around!! It was seriously RPG psychics.. Like.. nothing goes wrong for them at all! ……. So, yeah.. go see it, but expect total cheese in the acting and actual psychics departments.
After that, everyone went back to Atari’s place to drink, but we just ended up watching Monster Squad instead. Rebecca and I had never seen it, and I’m glad to say that I’ll never watch it again. It was a really typical bad 80’s kid flick. It would have been cool as shit if I had seen it about 10-15 years ago… Seeing it now makes me want to get that hour of my life back. Tang and I left to come back to Athens (John has to go see his mom today, so he stayed there) right at about 5am.. Got back at about.. 6:30 – 7:00am.. It was well past dawn, whenever it was.. I can’t believe I was actually coming IN my damn door past dawn. I haven’t done that in a few years. I slept until noon, but I’m still tired as shit. I have work at 1 today, but then I will come home and take a nap..
Tomorrow I go see my mom and have a kick-assly fun day at Six Flags! I wish I could bring my camera, but that would be a really stupid thing to do. I have to remember to bring my sun block and wear my swimsui
