Last night, the southeast got a little bit of an ice storm. This morning, I woke up and looked outside at the tree next to my window. Since it wasn’t covered in ice, I wasn’t concerned. I go down to my car later, heading to class, feeling thankful that I don’t have to scrape off the frost this morning (rain washed it away), and then I see my car. It’s covered in about 1/2 inch of ice, all the way around. My door is frozen shut, and it takes me a full 10 minutes to get into the damn car after chipping the ice away with my keys. I get my ice scraper, and set to work. 30 minutes later, I discover what a futile effort that is. I have no heat in my car, so that can’t help me… It’s pretty useless, and my hands are numb as shit. Wheee for ice.
