‘Well, school has been going decently well, except for my phenomenal lack of ability to recall anything with numbers and letters together. I can remember words, I can remember phone numbers.. but if you try to get me to remember how to do a problem with an x or something in it, It slips my short term memory in about 2 days. My schedule is:
College Algebra 9:30am – 10:30am
Early Childhood Education 11:00am – 12:00pm
Sociology 12:30pm – 1:30pm
I had a nasty algebra quiz yesterday, and I have a test on Tuesday. I’ve already cried is frustration over my homework three times. ECE is going very well though, and it’s fun so far. Had the first lesson plan due Thursday. I get to make up whatever I want to do with my kids, because I’m not in a real classroom with kids. I chose to dress them all up in kimono and learn about Japan. My sociology class is a load of fun too. The teacher is very funny, and all of what we are learning is easy for me to grasp.. She even told me I’m a very smart person, because I’m quick to draw connections.
I also went shopping in celebration of getting back into school, because I like spending money. I went to Goody’s and found this gem of a dress on clearance for $6. Fit so nice, I thought I’d take it home with me. I also found a shirt that says “What a difference a brain makes” and had to buy it too. I love buying clothes. ::sigh:: I’m such a girl when it comes to clothes. 🙂 There are a few more shots of the dress in the Me album of the gallery, as well as some rather silly shots John got of me when I decided I needed a whole chicken for dinner one night. There’s also one more in there of Megan and I, playing around on the webcams we use when talking to each other. I got a screen shot of that one.
