Last night I had some interesting dreams…
First I was laying in bed, talking to someone standing at the foot of the bed. It was perfectly normal to be having a conversation in the dark while John was asleep next to me. I was talking bad about the local copycat photographer to this person when someone on the outside shined a flashlight into the window. Both I and whoever I was talking to both looked over and said “There’s someone out there!” I turned to John snoozing away and said “John, it’s a flashlight!” over and over trying to wake him up. He finally rolled over and looked and me and said “It’s just a thief, they’ll go away.” and I woke up.

The next dream I had was more colorful. I was living in a big big house on top of a hill. It was snowing, and on the radio the announcer was reading the list of school closings in our county. We had the TV tuned to the weather channel to see the huge snowstorm coming in out of the east. I had the front door wide open to watch the snow getting worse and worse as the sun set and I was on the phone with my mother, who only just made it our of her city before the airport was closed at 2:44pm (who knows why 2:44pm was sooo important). The storm had already killed several people, but our local airport was already closed, so it was too late for us to get out. I had a daughter and a son. The daughter was about 7 year old and a dark-haired beauty who looked a lot like her daddy (and had his temper). The son was only a baby, maybe 7-10 months old and dressed in a pumpkin outfit (wtf?). I was struggling with the phone and the camera at the same time, and finally I told mom I needed to get a picture before the sun set and hung up. I grabbed the camera and the baby (huh?) and dragged them both out for a snowy sunset photo. The house faced the sunset and since we were on a big hill, nothing was in the way of the mosy blue and orange sunset ever. I woke up as I was positioning the baby in the snow to get him in the photo too.
