… a lot like.. you get the idea. Every room gets a tree at my school. Whee for having to keep the kids out of it for a month. Today they knocked the dame thing over twice. The lights haven’t been on a day yet and they killed half a strand. Despite the tree vs gravity issues, i find it surprisingly uplifting. John’s been sick for weeks now, the kids are annoying, I’m PMSing, etc… but the room looks pretty. I even have a starfield above my desk. I have to unplug the thing for naps though, because it’s just damn bright! It made me feel so nice at work that I came home and put up our tree. It took me all of 45 mintues, but it’ll save poor sick John the trouble of me pestering him to help. Now we have a cheerful tree in the middle of the main room. I like it!
