I’ve been wishing for an ice storm for months now. Ever since the hummingbirds left, really. A few days ago, most of the southeast got a little bit of one. It lasted for about 8 hours and left about 1/4 inch of ice on everything a foot off the ground. It didn’t freeze on the roads or grass, so school/work wasn’t cancelled. I got a few photos of it before it all melted, but most of them were totally trash because of the low light and rain when I took them. It’s pretty hard to take pictures when you’re shivering and the lens is wet. Here’s hoping for one with more ice and better light, like last January!
It's a street in a strange world.
Nice photos, wonders why you used the Sony Cybershot and not your Rebel. The Rebel should have taken far better photos.
The Rebel’s lens was getting too wet. I don’t have a hood for it yet.
