So I have to have some business cards by August the 11th so I can hand them out in case people ask while I’m at the hummingbird festival. To that end, I’ve jumped on printsmadeeasy.com and whipped out two designs to hold me over until I can get Atari or Tim to do a logo for me. Which one is best? The finished cards will NOT have the dotted lines on them.

EDIT: thanks to Groovy for design #2 for the B+W card.

Like the child (the second one with the white) business card.. Maybe you could have two, one for adults one for children..

S Says:

definitely, the third. (smaller munch) great shot. i even like the fonts. make sure the back isn’t glossed so you can write notes/reminders for the clients.

Elizabeth Says:

I like the second one–the larger portrait of the child. It draws you in, makes you look for a while. Makes you wish you could have a portrait like that of your child. The third one is more standoff-ish. It feels like , okay, here’s a business card with a picture on it. The first one is very nice, and I like color, but it’s not the most flattering camera position to the subjects. I dunno, the second one is the one that capturs my eye and my imagination. It’s the one that makes me want to call you to my child’s portrait. Or mine.

Bob Bybee Says:

Have both! They’re great shots. You can have cards done in 4-color on the front and one color (black and white) on the back, just about as cheap as color one-sided only.
