He was racing around the dance floor as kids will, and went flat on his face. Blood everywhere: nose, mouth, everything a mess. I and another guy coordinated getting the attention of his parents--who then proceeded to ask me to shoot a picture of him as soon as he'd stopped crying. So somewhere in the archives I have a picture of two people dressed to the nines with a bloody-faced five year old between them. I guess maybe they thought they'd have a laugh with him about it years hence. Who knows. Reminds me of a kid at a wedding.
