Well, I got the blue feeder for my birthday this year, and hung it under the eaves on the deck above us. It wasn’t very popular with the crowd around here until I moved it out from under the deck to a pole in the grass. I filled it with a general seed mix, but most of the birds that came only picked out the sunflower seeds and knocked the rest out of the feeder. The squirrels climbed up the pole and chewed nice large holes for themselves, so all the seed falls out now. 🙂 So, a few days ago I filled it with sunflower only seeds, and it’s become THE neighborhood spot to be somehow. I have:

12 Dark eyed juncos
9 Squirrels
5 Tufted Titmouse
4 Carolina Chickadees
4 Mourning Doves
2 North American Cardinals (male)
3 House Finches (2 male and 1 female)
1 Downy Woodpecker
1 Tennessee Warbler

The feeder is beginning to be very busy. 🙂 I like watching it.
