December 16: I am glad that of my man’s now 28 years alive, I have been lucky enough to share a little over 6 of them.
December 17: I am sad to have missed out on a good pal’s party, but sooooo glad for the alone-time.
December 18: I am glad that one of our friends had an extra Burning Crusade beta key for us.

December 13: I am grateful that my man can cook, because I sure as hell cannot.
December 14: I am glad that I have the presense of mind to worry that I am too shallow because I like to buy things.
December 15: I am glad that even though my astigmatism may be worse, it’s not glaucoma. Whew.

December 12:I am very glad that the mother of my first newborn shoot loves my work enough to give them as Christmas presents. That makes me feel happy.

December 11th: I’m glad to have the opportunities that I have and the capability and flexibility to make the best of them. I had my very first ever newborn shoot today. It wasn’t eveything I was hoping for, but I would say it still went well.

Larken and her two took me to the park today. I didn’t get any I liked of Benji, but this one of Isaac made my day.
December 10: I am glad to have found a new spot to shoot, expecially since all of the leaves have fallen and make my normal places too harshly lit now.

December 9th: I am very glad that I do not have all that I want. I can hope and dream, and never lose that wonder of something new. So many people out there have so much material stuff they forget what truely important.

A new LJ friend did this, and I was feeling the need to moon over some gear too. This is mostly a list of stuff that will be pretty impossible to get unless I’m a big-shit photographer one day.

Canon Rebel XTi, 10mp silver body only $689
10mp is a little more useful to me than the 30D’s 8mp.

Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM $380
I need a low-light lens for small spaces

Canon EF-S 17-55mm F/2.8 IS USM $1000
Image stabilization rocks hardcore.

Big softbox 2-3, $90 each
Eventually i’ll need some studio lighting

2-3 Alien bees, B800 $280 each
The flashes that go in the softboxes

Day 7: I am grateful that I can get totally drunk with my friends and watch soft porn when the occasion calls for it. Because those kind of friends are nice to have.
Day 8: I am glad that I grew up without contacts. It makes me love the sight of a very blurry Christmas tree.

Another call for Christmas card addresses. I’m still missing a few (Larken, Clifford, Meggie)!
