Incidents and accidents

John left this note on the dry erase board yesterday morning before he left. I quickly checked my ‘Love John’ box after taking this.
He’s gone for a few days taking care of his mother again. She was stepping out of a restaurant and turned her foot somehow. She managed to make it home and into the house, but just barely. She called John because she couldn’t walk the dog or make it up the stairs. They went to the doctor yesterday and got some x-rays done. She may have cracked a bone, but they’re headed to a doc with a different type of machine today.

These are the most expensive shoes I’ve bought in the last 6 years. $40 for a pair of Mary-Janes Crocs. Yes, I now own a pair of Crocs. Mostly so I can go swimming in the river for another shoot and not have my shoes smell like fish for a week

This awesome ribbon will be sewn onto my camera strap to cover up the ugly Canon strap they gave me with the camera. Well, one of them will be, at least. I can decide which I like better. I love the blue and brown, of course… but the orange is so vibrant.
