I have to say, I love my new Lightsphere! I just bought it and tried it out last night, and it’s everything it’s hyped to be and more. I bought it for good night shots at an upcoming wedding, and I feel so much better about those future photos now. Too bad I’ll be laughed out of the reception for having Tupperware on my camera.

Mom’s wedding went well. I didn’t trip over my heels or fall down the stairs. I nearly cried during Dave’s wedding vows, they were so sweet. I danced like crazy and as a result got fewer pictures of her wedding than I’d like.Thank goodness I talked her into hiring someone else. It was fun to enjoy myself. Pictures of her wedding following later.
The day after, we took pictures for my mother’s Christmas presents. She said she wanted some pictures of all three of us together, since it’s been years since she had some. Meggie’s been away for years, so this was just now possible. The original plan was to drag a tripod out and just have Tim (Meggie’s brittish guy) press the button, but it was easier for me to set the camera and let Tim compose it himself. He did a pretty good job. At one point he said “This is actually quite difficult!” and Meggie replied with “Yeah, imagine how hard it is when it’s actual children instead of adults just acting like children!” It made me feel good. I was like “Oh, she understands!”

I’ll be out of town for my mother’s wedding this weekend. I already miss my kitty, and I haven’t left yet! She’s sleeping on my legs right now, snoring. The upside is I get some new shots for my wedding section.
I went to ship some orders today and my car didn’t start. ::cry:: I turn the key and nothing happens. I know I didn’t screw up and leave the lights on again because the radio comes on. Just no engine turnover. John’ looking at it tomorrow. With luck it’ll be an easy/cheap fix.
Larken is picking me up Thursday to get my hair cut at the same place she got hers done last time. Hopefully it won’t be the massacre it was at the last place.

Little man Damian. Born just as strong as Larken’s boys and able to lift his head up from day one. Turned himself over on the beanbag. I love this kid already, but he managed to poo on nearly all the blankets I brought with me, then peed on me and his mommy. Add in the fact that he HATES tummy time and this kid has too much junk to hide behind his feet, and it was a long day… The AMAZING nursery decorated in a sea theme made up for it though. I found the squidopus and jellyfish net and just HAD to use them.
