Well, maybe not quite bombed, but surely not as well as I thought I did. I studied really hard and even made up flash cards for myself. I knew all of the flash cards material, and remembered it well, but somehow still made a barely passing 71. I thought I did really well on it, maybe even into the A range, but surely a B at least.. ::sigh:: I have to figure out how to make Algebra fun and creative. Right now it’s simply pushing numbers around on a page, which is neither fun nor creative. I need fun, I need creativeness, or I don’t learn it. It’s just spitting it back on a page and forgetting it in two days. I bought a self help book and some pretty colored paper (maybe it will be more fun than white paper) to help me do better.
On the other hand, both my other classes are fun and creative and I really like them. ECE is going well because I get to pick my themes for my lesson plans. I can make up anything I want to, because I don’t have real kids to do it with. Last week, I dressed up my imaginary kids in Kimono and Zori and took photos of them to send home to the parents. This week, we’ll be learning all about bunnies. Bunny poo, bunny fur, bunny noses and bunnt ears.. etc. T should prove to be fun to write at least. Sociology is fun too, because the discussion in class are for smart people. 🙂 Makes me feel bright to get into them.
