So, My Princess Daisy costume is finally fished! Heh, 5 days before the days I’m needing to wear it! That’s cutting it a bit close for me, but you can all thank sewing-goddess-and-wonderful-kind-Larken for making the yellow part look so stunning. I glued on the white ruffle at the bottom last night. I also made the crown and the belt. There’s a cute daisy trim around the sleeves and the collar, and a big huge daisy on the crown. The plan is to go to Gumby’s party on Saturday night, then go out around downtown Athens on Sunday night. I’m wishing Gumby’s party was on Sunday night because downtown Athens just won’t be as cool on Sunday night with all the bars closed. I don’t think I’ll be getting much Halloween this year. 🙁
