102: Twix for breakfast rocks. I’m going to follow it up with big biscuits though.

101: Got one of the gold dresses I ordered. It’s more gold than cream for sure, and still too little for Olivia. I have to iron the crap out of them and make some long tutus that can puff out the skirt a little. Apparently Chinese children are shorter than American children, so the sizes they tell you will fit a 7-year-old aren’t correct. 7 years theer means 5 years here, I guess. I ordered one that they say will fit a 9-year-old, so hopefully she can fit into that one. She may not be my daughter, but she’s still my best girl model.

Heather: (looking through the candy aisle at the store) Damn… no white chocolate.
John: I didn’t see any either.
Heather: 60% dark, 75% dark, 80% dark. Dark chocolate sure is popular these days.
John: Yeah… Dark chocolate is the new color of pants.

100: Sarah just got married in this very dress and wings less than two weeks ago. I asked her if she’s put it all on again and tromp around the Botanical Gardens with me, and she said “Great!”. We had an awesome time.

99: I met my monthly financial goal today with my biggest order yet!

98: Got one of the dresses in. No gold ones yet though, and this one is too short for Olivia to wear, I think.

97: The first blooms on my Hot Lips salvia are always solid red.

96: Arg for blackspot on my roses!!

95: Working out a new pricelist to offer packages sucks.

94: Had a wonderful shoot today with my favorite redhead repeat client. I bought that dress with her in mind 7 months ago, and she was finally able to fit into it.

93: John’s dad treated us to lobster dinner. It’s not every day you get lobster, but it was not good.

92: Soaking Morning Glory seeds before planting.

91: Miss S’s see-you-later tea party with her freind.I did not cry until I got home. Then I cried all over my mac&cheese.

90: As John and I pulled out for lunch, I hear this *fwapfwafwap* sound. I ask “What is that sound?” and John says “Umm.. park it NOW.” This is what that sound was.

Bad: Woke up with a headache.
Bad: Sabina has taken a turn for the worse and cannot walk and talk very well anymore. This counts for lots of bad.

Good: First hummingbird today!
Good: Slept in late
Good: Got the yellow petticoat I ordered today.
Good: I have a goodbye tea-party session with Sabina and her best freind on Wednesday before she goes to St. Jude in Memphis.
Good: Sewed waistband into petticoat and blue ribbon onto white dress.
Good: Had biscuits for breakfast.
Good: As of today, I have reached the halfway point for my 5D. $1400 in the account, $1400 left to go.

89: At 10:03am today I saw my first of season hummingbird, an adult male. ::insert sqeeeing here:: So far there’s only one bird. I know because he comes precisely every 10 minutes. Hummingbirds feeding attract other hummingbirds though, so I should see more by the end of the week, if not the end of the day.

88: Packing up to go home.

87: Mom and I went strawberry picking! She would not thank me for posting the one of her butt.

86: In NC visiting my mother this weekend. Here’s her and her white stander poodle, Keagan. Morgan (her black one) in that spot of fluff at the bottom of the picture.

85: I got my GracieGram today.

84: Forgive the nasty picture of me, but this happened to be the only photo I took that day. Stumpy needs a cuddle… a lot.

83: Larken came over with her two boys today. I took the opportinty to grab some new shots of them.

82: I love ortho-tri-cyclen.

81: WTH? It’s 35F this morning!

80: Ah, the sunset today was gorgeous.

79: Yum, new bag. 3lbs of Skittles.

I am finally ready to order this darn dress I’ve been wanting for months. I just can’t choose a color. I like the burgundy better personally, and I think it will photograph better, but another photohrapher (not local to me) has the same one in burgundy. I really doubt clients will notice or care at all if some other photograper has it, but it still seems like I’m a total idea-stealer.
I will be ordering a pair of them, one for 5-7 year old and one for 3-5 year olds, both need to be the same color in case there are a pair of sisters wanting to wear them.

78: I got a haircut today!

77: Ick.

76: First rose of the season to bloom on my lavender tree rose.

75: The ribbon on the this little dress was pink, but it was nasty and torn, so I’m replacing it with blue.

74: Stumpy is a little under the weather, so she slept most fo the day. Not to worry, she gets a little sick about twice a year, spring and fall. She’s fine after about a week.
