A bit of my childhood

I was doing a bit of research for Spring (I wanted some flowers in her hair, but I can’t draw any type of flower without a picture to look at) when I ran across a picture of a My Little Pony, which sent me off on a search for the ones I had as a little girl. I got so caught up in this that I spent 2 hours on it before I ran into the Hasbro Fairy Tails Birds, which I loved more than the ponies. My very favorite and most adored Fairy Tail Bird was Twighlight Tails, who you see on the left. I played with this one more than any of the others we had, including the ponies. I think I’ll look fpr this one on ebay and in the flea markets. Between the two of us, Megan and I had Twilight Tails, Tattle Tails, Tu Tu Tails, Twinkle Tails and maybe a few more that I don’t remember so clearly. This made me remember all of the other neat things I used to have when I was little that I’d forgotten (isn’t it amazing how the things just disappear?), like Popples, Rainbow Brite, She-Ra, Fraggle Rock, Garbage Pail Kids, Cabbage Patch Kids, Lite Brite, Thundercats, Big Wheels, Domino Rally, Girl Talk, Glo-Worms, Mad Libs, Pound Puppies, Sea Wees, Smurfs, Spirograph, Lady Lovelylocks and the Pixietales (I really really want some of the little animals that clip into your hair. Meggie and I used to have them.) and more.. It’s so odd how you just forget about them…
