Well, I would have had a new drawing done either tonight or this weekend soemtime, but opencanvas decided to crap out on me. It seems the trial version has a 30 day or 30 time limit, and I seem to have exceeded that limit. I was right in the middle of drawing the one of Summer and Winter I had spoken of earlier, when it crashed. I cursed at it, but had recently saved, so I wasn’t concerned. I open my most recent event file, and was astounded to receive the error message “Could not add postscripts because of expiration of using!”.. I had the key, I had everything, but somehow it couldn’t add anything onto saved files anymore. I was annoyed, but did a bit of research and discovered that if I set back the date on the system clock, it’d be fine. All except for that certain thing that says ‘30 time trial’. I’d used it over 30 times. I researched all of what I could get my hands on to edit the registry, but nothing works. I even download a program that watches each program to see if they edit the registry and where, so I could delete all records of it in there at all. While in the middle of editing the registry, the program I’d downloaded to hack it crashed on me (I was running too much, my fault) and took half of the registry with it. ::shrug:: “Oh well,” I said to myself, “I’ll just reinstall, and it’ll fix the registry and opencanvas too.” No such luck… It looks like I’ll have to reformat my drive and leave OC up forever if I ever want to save anything with it again. ::sigh:: I’m very annoyed.
