Yes, I put this story in Entertainment because I LOVE this kind of weather. I love the snow and ice. I love how pretty it makes everything, and I love how people here just crap themselves when this happens. All of the bottled water, milk and bread is gone from the grocery store. I don’t even have to drive up there to know it. Happens every time. It seems that people in Georgia think that they’re going to be stuck in their houses for weeks. Anyway, I went out taking pictures of the ice today. I went out three times; 10:15am, 3:30PM, and 6:00PM. At 10 it was relatively warm. It was raining little chucks of ice, but the air was dry, so it felt nice. At 3:30, it was sleeting. It was horrible. I like the cold and all, but I forgot my gloves. My hands were numb when I got back in. The 6:00 trip out wasn’t too cold either, but still rainy. My hair froze. 🙂 It’s supposed to re-freeze tonight, so i may be able to get some more shots of it tomorrow morning. The inch of snow we go last night is crusted over with about an inch of ice, so that will re-freeze too. I’m sure not driving anywhere tomorrow!
